23 weeks...or 24....?

How far along? Well i'm 24 weeks today, but so much has been going on that I missed my 22 and 23 week posts. BLAHH...moving (and not moving), and caring for an infant and her unborn sibling REALLY take up a lot of time. So sorry to her sister, who will probably be deeply offended that some of her posts are missing ;) Mom tried....really, I did.

If you'd like to go back to when I had OODLES of time, and read about my 22nd week with Elsie, click right here! 23rd week?...click right here! and lets just add the 24th week for good measure! You can find it HERE! Uff da!

Maternity clothes: Still on the same routine as far as that goes.

Stretch marks? Nada. My belly is still pretty small. Some days it still barely looks like i'm even pregnant, which is actually sort of a bummer to me. (Sometimes lol) I had a doctor's appointment last week and I've only gained about 3 lbs so far. They aren't very concerned, especially considering I only gained about 15-17 lbs with Elsie and she was an almost 8 lb baby. Also considering the baby is right on track with growth, she's actually measuring AHEAD. I'm definitely not restricting myself as far as my diet goes, so it's a mystery to me why i'm not gaining weight. They are going to start monitoring my weight gain a little closer from here on out.

Sleep: No problem!

Best moment this week: Week? Don't you mean closer to MONTH? gulp. Let's see..I guess getting the official word from my ultrasound that she's a perfect little healthy babe! That's always such a weight off my mind. So grateful and blessed to have another healthy baby a'brewin. Also we've had a couple field trips as a family now that the days are getting warmer. LOVING that.

Miss anything?: Meh, i'm good.

Movement: Yep! She's a little wiggle worm! But she doesn't seem to wake me up at all through the night. (fingers crossed that will remain the case AFTER she's born! hehe)

Food cravings: Lots of ice cream has been on my mind lately. Also I had a DEEP craving for brownies/cake with chocolate frosting. I got all the supplies, but my dear husband had already packed up our pans. I still haven't had that brownie. Tragic.

Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nothing!! Funny story though, literally within hours of me saying that on my last post, I threw up. So i'll tread lightly on that one.

Gender: Chickadee

Labor signs: Nope, lots of braxton hicks though!!

Symptoms: Indigestion like a mofo!! braxton hicks, general achiness especially my hips

Belly button in or out? Still rockin and rolling.

Happy or moody most of the time? Meh, the process of buying a home is for the birds. It's had me down lately. Also packing is legit my most hated thing. Literally #1. So annoying.

Looking forward to: I'd like to say moving...but who knows when that will ever be. I'll just say steady warm weather. lol. This up and down crap ain't cool.

17 weeks with chickadee #2

How far along? 17 weeks!

You can find our EXCITING 17th week Elsie post right here!! :)

Maternity clothes: Got back to my fave thrift store for maternity clothes and got a few new little staples! I still haven't felt like i'm "showing" much. This update pic sorta changed my mind lol. Maybe it's jut the bandaid of a dress that i'm wearing. Both Josh and I were like where did that come from?? haha.

Stretch marks?  Haven't been doing much in the stretching department.

Sleep: Gettin lotsa good sleep

Best moment this week: Welllll.....we found a house we really liked in Lindstrom and put an offer on it, and whaddya know WE GOT IT!!! So so so so crazy, and it definitely hasn't hit me yet! It will be the perfect starter home for our little family, and nice and close to my family for when I start losing my hair with these 2 munchkins. It will be interesting to go through the whole moving process while pregnant. We close on April 22nd if all goes according to plan. I'm hoping it will be as painless as possible. Pray for me!!!! ALSO, have to mention the BEAUTIFUL weather we've been having. Almost 70 degrees the other day, seriously makes ALL the difference in the world as far as my psyche goes.

Miss anything?:  Still not a whole lot springs to mind

Movement:  Haven't felt a WHOLE lot this week, but she still reminds me she's there here and there. Can't really expect to feel her totally regularly quite yet.

Food cravings:  Not a whole lot in terms of cravings this week. The only thing that comes to mind is I HAD to have a roast beef sandwich a few days back. I opted for Jimmy Johns. It did not disappoint.

Anything making you queasy or sick?  I'm still sort of touch and go. I'm either JUST nauseous, I'm nauseous with a headache, or I just have a headache. Sort of exhausting. Thanks a lot, little girl! :)

Gender: little lady!!! yipeee!

Labor signs: No!

Symptoms: Like I said, still the typical things. The GOOD news is I still haven't had a knock down-drag out migraine since I've been on that new prescription. It's been close a couple times, but that's an AMAZING improvement in my opinion. I just hope i'm not becoming dependent on this medication....you know, something else for me to worry about. Story of my life. I've also had lots of round ligament pain, spring allergies are kickin in and when I sneeze i'm like doubled over in pain. YEOUCH!!

Belly button in or out? Still in!

Wedding rings on or off? Off, guess my fingers need to fatten up or I need to get my rings resized

Happy or moody most of the time?  I have LOTS to be happy about!! I still find things to cry about, believe me, but for the most part i'm a happy clam! :)

Looking forward to:  my BFF coming to town!!

14 weeks with bambino #2

How far along? 14 weeks, baby!! This chick is officially in the 2nd trimester!!
If you'd like to read about my 14th week with Elsie, you can find that bad boy here

Maternity clothes: I wear some maternity shirts here and there, but no pants yet.

Stretch marks?  Not Chyet

Sleep: Getting great sleep still, thanks to my little angel baby! ;)

Best moment this week: Well it was Valentine's this past weekend. Josh was out of town, but he surprised me by sending me flowers so that was very sweet. Then we went out for a little date on sunday to the casino (NO LUCK) and then a steak dinner which was delish. It was really fun, nice to get away just the 2 of us.

Miss anything?:  being able to go outside without my lungs literally forming icicles with every breath. I'm getting cabin fever big time, I need some warm weather.

Movement:  I swear I feel little fluttery bubbles here and there!! I think i'll feel this babe a lot sooner than I did with Elsie

Food cravings:  Oh good grief, don't even get me started. I feel like it's something different every day. I could eat tomatoes whole, and I feel like I could eat a red onion like an apple. And i've been craving blue cheese dressing a lot too. So I've been having a lot more salads again and buffalo wings. HAHA. For fat tuesday, I satisfied ALL my cravings in 1 meal and it was AMAZING. lol

Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nausea has more or less gone away (still rears its ugly head here and there) but these damn headaches are killer again, and my stomach always spins when I have a bad headache.

Gender: Still don't know for sure, but it's a girl. ;)

Labor signs: No!

Symptoms: Friggin headaches!!!! It's a good thing that having babies is such a beautiful amazing experience, because if it wasn't I would never get pregnant again JUST to avoid these incessant headaches. HORRIBLE!!!!!

Belly button in or out? Still in!

Wedding rings on or off? Still off

Happy or moody most of the time?  I've had some nasty surges with hormones this week (lol) but for the most part i've remained pretty happy! (considering how nasty cold and gross it has been)

Looking forward to:  Spring (which will never come) and finding out FOR sure what this baby is! :)

34 weeks!

How far along? 34 weeks!

Maternity clothes: Same routine! Although this week I did spoil myself a little bit and got a pair of SUPER cute maternity jeans off of Zulily. They were on sale for 20 bucks so I didn't feel too guilty. Anyone in the market for maternity clothes I totally recommend Zulily and Hautelook. They regularly have super good sales for us mama's to be as well as baby stuff!

Stretch marks? There's nothin yet! I feel like i'm being punked and a day before I give birth my stomach is going to be like "JUST KIDDING, here's your stretch marks!!"

Sleep: I'm doing really well still, falling asleep easily and staying asleep besides the occasional trip to the bathroom. The only thing that has changed is i've noticed it is getting harder and harder to adjust sleeping positions throughout the night, this belly is hard to maneuver comfortably. I sorta feel like it would be easier to just get OUT of bed and start over instead of rolling over. haha

Best moment this week: Well the majority of the past week was spent in Michigan still. We had such a fabulous time and the weather was gorgeous. Beach time, mini road trips to different places, Lake Superior, A zoo, Josh went golfing, the casino, and multiple bonfires. It was extremely hard to leave on Wednesday. I had my first real uncontrollable hormonal breakdown, I was SO sad! But we have gotten A LOT done since we've been home so I guess it's not all bad.

Miss anything?: Maneuvering my body easily, bending over, etc.

Movement:  Ohhh yes and boyyy is she runnin out of room! I've had a couple of times where she is clearly trying to stretch out and I can feel the sharp pressing feeling down on my bladder and kicking up in my ribs. Insanity. She's also had the hiccups a lot more lately too.

Food cravings: ICE CREAM!! SO not like me, but I just can't get enough

Anything making you queasy or sick?  I had a moment while registering at Babies R Us where I felt like I was going to vomit out of nowhere, but I can't really pinpoint what caused it. Just extensive standing? Who knows

Gender: Chicky poo

Labor signs: Nope!

Symptoms: All my usual, indigestion, back pain if I'm standing or walking for extended periods of time, getting more fatigued again, leg and foot cramps, and i've started having more and more braxton hicks. All in all though I feel very fortunate because I still feel REALLY good, sorta waiting for the downfall!

Belly button in or out? Really depends upon the day, some days it's REALLY out, other times it's In and sometimes it switches throughout the day depending on what i'm doing. Silly little thing.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or moody most of the time? With the exception of coming home from vacation I've been really happy. If I can take a moment to gush a bit, (skip past this section if you can't stomach it) i've just been feeling so fortunate and overwhelmingly BLESSED lately. It's been a rough weekend with getting all kinds of things accomplished in the nursery, hours spent registering for upcoming showers, as well as a few "homestead hiccups." And no matter how overwhelmed or stressed out I started to feel, I just felt SO fortunate to have Josh by my side. He's really SO good about just being helpful and cooperative when he knows I need it. I know plenty of men would have gotten really fed up with my requests and overall annoying "nesting behaviors." I've just found that it's really easy for a woman to feel kind of "alone" throughout the pregnancy and sort of like it's ALL on you. I feel really lucky to have a man that tries REALLY hard to make me feel like we are in this together and that I don't ever need to feel like i'm doing anything on my own. He's also been working extremely hard to make it a possibility for me to stay home with the baby until she's a little older and that is just AMAZING! What can I say other than I really feel like I won the husband lottery (even if he drives me nuts sometimes....hey maybe I should remind myself to read this when he does! haha) <3

Looking forward to:  I'm really looking forward to my showers because while we have most of the BIG stuff for the nursery, we have NOTHING else. I am so dang excited to meet this little one!

Oh my Gosh you guys!!

Well I guess I need to first begin by saying HOLY COW it's been forever since I last posted. It's not that I don't want to post more often, I just can never think of anything to write about. Except for when I'm sitting in traffic or something stupid like that. THEN it's like, OH EM GEE, I could write about this and this and oh that! But then as soon as I sit down at the computer, it's like "uhh duhhhh, I are so interesting!!" And I don't think anyone enjoys reading things like that. I just need some inspiration, and I need to keep it.

Next order of business, and excuse my french, but holy shit you guys, I'M MARRIED!!! I look back on my last couple posts and it feels like such a distant memory already. It is absolutely CRAZY!! I know before I got married everyone told me that It would just come and be gone in the blink of an eye. And It was kinda just like "ohh yeah, okay sure." But seriously...what just happened?? You spend all this time preparing and stressing and planning and organizing for such a momentous life changing occasion, and then it's just over and your life is in full swing! I wish I would have had the whole day recorded just so I would have an extra opportunity to experience it, just because it is such a blur. Don't get me wrong, it's a big wonderful blur. The happiest, most exciting, butterfly filled blur. But still a blur. If I were to give any future brides any advice, it would be to #1 just relax and enjoy the day.. and to really soak everything in.Take many many mental pictures. And just remember that some things will go wrong, THAT'S OKAY!! I almost walked down the aisle without my bouquet! My maid of honor had to go running down like 3 flights of stairs during the processional to grab them. (Thank God for her) But as long as at the end of the day you are happily married, who cares what stupid minute detail goes wrong. But anyways, I'm married and I couldn't be more blessed. We have a wonderful little home, we both have jobs, we're both healthy, and we have lots of love! WOW! :)

Well I guess that's it for now, Hopefully I get some more inspiration before another 5 months comes and goes! I mean seriously!
